Case Interview

Guides, frameworks, and worked examples filed under Case Interview.

The case interview is the part of the process that decides most outcomes, and it is the most trainable. These articles cover the full arc: opening a case cleanly, building a structure that fits the specific question, doing mental arithmetic without losing the thread, reading exhibits quickly, and closing with a recommendation that a client could act on. Alongside the technique pieces you will find walkthroughs of complete cases, so you can see how the parts fit together under time pressure rather than in isolation. The material assumes you will practise out loud with a partner, because the skill being assessed is communication under load, not private problem solving. Read for the reasoning behind each move rather than the move itself. Interviewers have seen every memorised framework, and what distinguishes a strong candidate is the ability to explain why this structure suits this problem.
